Established in 1995, Spunchem housed the first spunbond plant in South Africa, which was capable of manufacturing 20 million square metres per year.
As a result of focused and strategic investment, today, we now capable of producing 1 billion square metres of nonwoven fabric annually.
Since inception, we have continuously invested in specialised equipment to ensure that we can cater for all sectors, with Spunbond, SMS, meltblown, coating, cast film, breathable film, printing and slitting capabilities.
